The IBM 305 RAMAC computer from 1956 was the first commercial computer using a HDD as a secondary storage device, instead of punch cards.

Known as the IBM 350 disk storage unit, the system stored 5 MB of data and weighed over a ton. Like every super computer from those days, it wasn't exactly portable, requiring forklifts to be transported around.

As you can see on the picture, it was delivered by cargo planes.

NASA's Kepler mission has just announced the discovery of the smallest ever exoplanets orbiting around a star similar to Sun, however, none of them lies within the habitable zone.

Though this planetary system is extremely compact (all orbits smaller than Mercury's), planets Kepler-20e and Kepler-20f have a radius 0.87 and 1.03 times the radius of Earth, respectively.
